Iceland Visa Requirements
Travelers who possess a vaccination certificate in Icelandic, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, or English, providing proof of receiving two doses of any of the three primary Covid-19 vaccines, will be exempt from border restrictions. Non-vaccinated individuals arriving in Iceland must undergo a Covid test upon arrival and proceed to their accommodations while awaiting the test result, which is typically received via email or SMS within 6 to 24 hours.
A visa is not necessary for this destination.
That's great! Here are some additional factors to consider when planning your trip to Iceland:
1. Passport validity: Ensure that your passport is currently valid.
2. Blank visa pages: Check if your passport has enough blank pages for visa stamps.
3. Transit visa: Confirm whether a transit visa is required for any connections during your journey.
4. Airline guidelines: Consult with your airline if you have connecting flights outside of Iceland. Some countries along the travel route may have specific visa requirements for transit. Please refer to the visa requirements of each specific country.
