Bahamas Visa Requirements
For stays up to 90 days, a visa is not required.
According to the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, fully vaccinated tourists can now submit proof of vaccination instead of undergoing pre-travel COVID-19 testing. They are not required to undergo any testing before or after arrival. Unvaccinated travelers can also visit the Bahamas but must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within five days prior to arrival. Additionally, unvaccinated travelers must complete a daily health questionnaire and undergo a rapid COVID-19 antigen test on the fifth day of their trip. Children who are 10 years old and younger are exempt from testing.
No visa is needed for this destination.
While planning a trip to the Bahamas, here are some additional things you should know:
- Verify the current validity of your passport.
- Ensure that your passport has enough blank visa pages.
- Confirm if a transit visa is required for any connecting flights.
- Check with your airline if you have connecting flights in other countries before reaching the Bahamas. It's possible that the countries you pass through might have separate transit visa requirements. Please refer to the specific country's visa requirements.
